If laksa is not a laksa, then don’t call it laksa. Just call it “whatever oriental meal I like to cook”. This Laksa is utter embarrassment. And with rice? Totally out!

please….please do not butcher a the term laksa……… it is a spicy noodle soup dish! i dont mind if u modify some of the ingredients but this is too far off concept of laksa

I made this for my niece and sister … they loved it and freaked out afterwards when I told them it was microwave rice …. couldn’t believe how nice the rice was … next day my niece sms’d me saying mum tried making it with normal rice and didn’t taste as good as mine … so microwave rice is very very good :)

You should instead look at it in a positive light, that they enjoy things from your culture and try to recreate these dishes… they may not be to your standards, but being offended is the incorrect feeling to have! Just remember you’ll always have it better. :P

i feel offended when i see people cook like this.and this looks exactly like tom yam not laksa! laksa after all,is a type of noodles. i always saw rachel ray on tv ,she tries to cook various asian food, and yuck, its gross…..she dont even know how to do it.one time she make satay gravy from peanut butter, not even cook, she just mix this and that sauce, and voila…satay gravy….i lost my words…
